How my fiance popped the question?

Before getting officially engaged Jonny and I were trying really hard not to tell any of our friends that we were getting engaged so it would be a big surprise. I have to admit one of us did better than the other. Anyway, we picked out the ring the first day of spring, almost a month ago so he has had it and we have been dying to get engaged but he had to go and meet my parents and get my dad's permission and blessing. We went to Texas last weekend and got back Monday night. He had a final Tuesday and so I picked up my nicely steamed wedding dress, got some laundry started thinking he was busy and I would not see Jonny that night. Then he calls and is super excited about passing his final and being done with his class. Jonny asked me if I wanted to come over and celebrate. I did and asked what time. Which he replied with a, I'll call you. I knew then he was up to something and so I wondered if he would ask me that night but then talked myself out of it thinking he wanted the weather to be nice and was disappointed when we came back to cold yucky weather. In my mind I thought he would ask me the next night but I got ready just in case. Then I got a text from my friend Ruth (who lives by Jonny) saying she had something for me and so I called and asked if Jonny had eaten and he hadn't so I picked us up some food too. When I got to Jonny's I was nervous excited and beaming! Jonny was smiling and deep in thought as we ate. So I asked what he wanted to do to celebrate finishing his class. He suggested a movie but seemed to be thinking something else. (Later he told me he was wanting to tell everyone that we were engaged) I thought to myself we just watched a movie when we got home from Texas Monday night. After we finished eating we were hugging and he asked if I had a preference whether he asked me outside or inside. I said I did not care either way but wanted him to not change his plans if he had planned one way. Then Jonny he asked if I wanted him to ask me sooner or later. I said sooner, so we can let people know! After a few minutes I said... I'm ready now! So he told me to wait downstairs and when he came back he had something hiding behind his back. I thought it was the ring but then he said he had a special friend that wanted to give me something. It was a Bridal Buildabear that he made for me after his final. The Bear had a letter that was from Jonny saying how much he loves me and reasons why. Then it said, "I don't know what else to say in words so I'll just say............", Jonny dropped to one knee with my ring and asked, "Jamie Bratt, will you do me the honor and marry me for time and all eternity." I said through teary eyes, "YES!". Jonny put the ring on. Soon after we called Julie first because she complained earlier that she was always last to find out or hear things. She squealed and screamed her congrats! :D Then we called the rest of our family to tell them we were officially engaged. YAY!!! We will be married in the Salt Lake Temple June 18. That is six days after Jess & Jake get married in the San Diego Temple. So it will be pretty busy in June. We will have a reception June 18 in East Millcreek, UT in the Boyd's (family in the Lamb's ward) backyard. Then we will be having a combined open house with Jess & Jake in San Antonio, TX in the Lindbergs' backyard. Love you all and hope to see you at the reception or open house as well as family at the Temple. : D
